The Public’s Access to Salmon Fishing is being Destroyed.
We need your help. Your support is essential to our success, and it is only by working together, in partnership with individuals and businesses like you, that our efforts can create enduring access and predictable opportunity to enjoy British Columbia’s public salmon fisheries.
Public access to salt and freshwater salmon angling is being systematically removed. The Public Fishery Alliance will fight for your angling rights by advocating for these changes that sustain our fishery while conserving Chinook and Coho Salmon.

1. Adipose fin clip 100% of hatchery produced Chinook and Coho salmon.
2. Permit and promote the retention of adipose clipped Chinook and Coho whenever and wherever possible.
3. Target hatchery production where it produces the greatest benefit for weak stock recovery and to sustain public fisheries.
4. Remove destructive in-river net fisheries and promote selective harvesting techniques.
Funds collected will support our mission to advocate for access and opportunity to public fisheries throughout British Columbia. We can only fight with your support!
